The Theatre Courtyard Gallery - Historical Exhibition Space

Banham High Security Plus Doors Defend a Part of History

In the historical location of William Shakespeare’s original theatrical home, the Theatre Courtyard Gallery is a public exhibition space preserving key elements of the site’s original infrastructure and exclusive memorabilia. For such a culturally significant setting, the project required doors that could offer exceptional protection without compromising on craftsmanship or visual integrity. Banham were commissioned to design, craft and install eight, four-metre-high bespoke Banham High Security Plus Doors, incorporating built-in steel panels, a steel core and advanced thermal and acoustic insulation. The result is a set of purpose-built doors that combine high-performance security with a refined, architectural finish appropriate for this unique historical environment.

“Blending advanced security with meticulous craftsmanship, Banham created a series of bespoke four-metre doors for Theatre Courtyard Gallery, preserving a historic site while meeting the demands of an exhibition space.”
